Must-Have Aldi Dupes: Our Top 5 Favorites

Published on 27 August 2024 at 18:48

These are my not-so-top 5 Aldi dupes. As most of us know, these beauty dupes fly off the shelves like gold dust.

Sunday is restock day at Aldi if you want to be the first to buy these dupes; however, they have something in stock on Tuesday after. It is always hit or miss. Some shops are more prominent and get more in the middle aisle, and some do not. I have tried all these myself, but fair warning, I have not, in most cases, actually used the product which Aldi has duped, so I am just basing it on how good these products are for me. Also, I like to be clear: what works for me might not work for you, and to also take this with a pinch of salt.

Jo Malone Dupes

Under this category, so many items look like a copycat of the luxury brand at a fraction of the price. Though Aldi also does other candle dupes, like Tom Ford candles, this line is constant in the shop. It has become such a thing that other stores are creating Jo Malone perfume dupes, especially for their best-selling scents. At Aldi, you get a perfume bottle with three scents for around £8 instead of £100+ if you get the branded. They do not just do the massive multiple-wick candles and perfumes but also hand wash, lotion, and hand sanitiser, which is an area that is not a dupe as Jo Malone does not sell their own. This is a perfume for those who want to test it for half the price, but they only have a limited amount of scents. I have never seen unique edition scents, so the only bonus with the Jo Malone brand is that you have a choice. Also, of course, sometimes there’s not a reliable amount of stock in Aldi’s products.

L'occitane dupes.

The packaging again gives it away, yet these brands have not sued them on these matters, which is quite shocking. But this is the almond body wash oil and the equivalent scrub. I cannot compare it to the real thing, but my mum loves L’occitane as a treat and jumped at the opportunity to have the dupe for a sliver of the original price. These smell divine and are precisely what they say on the package. These are less hard to find. If you want to find beauty products, they are always opposite the beauty section with the wipes and shampoos.

Paula's Choice

It is most known for its BHA toner, which Aldi, of course, does a dupe for, but that also makes a similar product in a face wash gel-like consistency. Even the text on the package is word for word the same, not just the print colour and layout. Both are similar or identical ingredients. This is much a like-for-like. So if you see it, buy it and buy more than one as I have had the face wash but never found the toner yet, so they are like gold dust. As you can see, the patterns are less pricey than the originals, although I cannot be sure that the results differ. Therefore, the brand is worth the price and hype it receives.

The Lacura brand.

This is Aldi's core line, which is the line that does the Aussie and Hand and Shoulders shampoo and conditioner dupe and dupes of Lynx and Dove and sure for all their beauty and skincare products. This is also the same line with a dupe for the Liz Earle Hot cloth cleanse and polish. This is a product; however, I repurchased it when I saw it again: the honey extract influences hair oil. This is a dupe of the TikTok viral hair oil in Sephora called Gisou. Though both honey influences, the label is different. While the packaging is the bog standard packaging with the puppet, the label is, in fact, for once different. Though the original is not as expensive as the others on this list, it's more than some could justify for a product that boosts shine and reduces frizz.

A pI have not seen the bonded hair range again under the brand name Lacura. It includes pre-wash, shampoo, condition, and post-wash products. That made My help feels so soft and mosturierungs. With the core message being repair, strengthening, and hydrating, I am not surprised with the outcome. This is the dupe for the Olaplex no. 4 maintenance line. I have always wanted to try Olaplex but could never afford it. I wanted to see if this version could still care for my dyed hair, which it did. As a bonus, the labelling is not the same. This is the last one, but I am unsure what the dupe is. Still, I saw and had to buy my graduation, which is body shimmer oil; though the applicator or getting the product out, I am not a fan of it does not go wild on the shimmer and does not stain or change the colour of your skin this could be perfect for little kids who want a shimmer. Still, the parents do not want the mess for it or to look more together at those concerts or festivals.

Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter.

This Aldi is, in fact, the dupe of a dupe by Elf called Halo Glow liquid filter, which is £15c. I did not want to spend too much on this product for someone who already has her staple foundation, especially as I would not use it daily. However, it comes in a tulip purple and peach tone, so I purchased the peach tone. Unlike the other dupes, it comes with a pump, not a stick, which I do not have a fan making it messier to apply to my face as I have to apply it to my hand and then onto my skin. This is a good start if you want to see if you can pull off the dewy look before purchasing the higher-end product, which is precisely what I did. However, I did not need or want to fork out for the more expensive ones when the Aldi one did what I wanted it to do.

spot, pimple and zit.

Now, I am no expert or gemologist, so my first point of call is to talk to a doctor or a gemologist to help with this, but here are some of the products or measures I put in place to help my skin. Disclaimer: These products might work for me, but everyone's skin is different. Dentists have recommended some products, and I have used others. If you see a recommended product, check their accreditation to give out the information. I will recommend people certified in my country of the UK who have different laws around product regulation and medical treatments. Always consult your doctor before making a drastic change to your skin routine
