How to Craft a Stunning Taylor Swift Eras Outfit: Inspiration and Tips

I don't know about you, but I am stressed about my outfit.

So many people have created some crazy imaginative outfits, such as the rec scarf from the song, which are all too well inspired by music videos, tour outfits, or eras. So that's where we will start. We will go through all eras and pick one that fits your personality, favourite era or album, and what you feel comfortable in. I will go through the core eras that will most likely be costumes to use and some links to outfits or descriptions of things you can make or take from your wardrobe for last-minute inspiration.

Debut

It is not a Debut album if it doesn't have coil curls in the hair and cowboy boots, though there are a few ideas from music videos or tur moments as it was the first album. Something long, flaunty dress with butterfly patterns would be an idea, or a cowboy hat and jacket and some denim shorts if you want to be able to move and shake. This is all things butterflies and lace ditsy countryside-style little mini dresses.

Fearless

This is everything gold and sparkling. This is the most well-known outfit, a gold sparkle 1930s dress with fringe and white cowboy boots. You can wear a fringe spark top and shorts and a skirt. So sparkling works on a long white ballgown corset from the love story outfit. You can go out and make your own junior jewels top, which you can do with your friends and loved ones. It is an excuse to wear PJ bottoms if they are not warm. Get those cropped cowboy boots, floral dresses, and a floaty white lace like the debut. Denim shorts are a perfect item for everyone to wear in their wardrobe.

Speak Now

Speak now will be remembered for the enchanted This is a purple chiffon layered dress. You could also go for the halter-neck short-length dress with the wrap-around section on the chest.  Everyone's purple short or long dress and accessories fit in; speak now with silver jewellery and accessories. Make sure to have some butterfly accessories like the tiny hair clips to add definition to your look

Red

Red is your navy striped ¾ sleeve length, high-waisted red shorts with button details and the red hat that Miss Swift has dished out at her concerts. Remember your pated lace-up schoolgirl shoes as well. If this is your cup of tea, get some sparkly black shorts and the “A Lot Going On at the Moment top” from It's a Music Video. If you are creative, even become THE red scarf from that song. If you want to simulate the music video of We Are Never Ever Ever Getting Back Together, where some exhort PJs like Chelsea peers' printed sets and some geek girl-type glasses are black-framed, get your red-lip loafers, converse, and gingham dress. You will fit the bill for this era. If you are part of the winter tour dates, get your red scarf, tartan red skirt, and high-legged burgundy leather heels to keep warm and stylish.

1989- my choice

This is all light blue ( not the Manchester City type) with those short skirts and red lipstick at the ready. I have a blue sparkle/ sequin top and a white pleated tennis skirt. This is where the bright and beautiful bomber jackets are handy, crop tops included. I also have white heart sunglasses, cowboy hats, and leisure tops. Think blue, white, and beach pretty girl candy girl style. Wear cute sky blue tops, denim shorts, and light blue denim jeans with the sparkle bomber top of the cropped top and skirt co-ord.

Reputation

This is where all the snakes come in, with the snake ring hooded tops, sequins, and sparkles per the trend. Some have recreated the one-leg red and black suit she wore on tour. Loads of people have made their outfits from scratch. You could wear a more upbeat outfit by recreating the gorgeous music video with your 1930s flapper girl-inspired look, similar to the fearless look. In the exy era, the black and leather junky healed boots and black denim skirt; if you are in the winter, leather hackles and black jeans are a good start, and some burgundy can be added to your reputation. Get that dark red lipstick as well. Or a mesh long-sleeve top with a dark black marble look.

Lover

Some have made their version rescuer of the lover pink body suit or the flower border dress Taylor wore to the grammars minus the mask. Anything pink or bejewelled and jazzed up will go here. This is where the feathers and eccentricity come into the mix. Think pink and girly girl in her lover era with lace ditsy pink, cords, and pink rainbow dresses with love heart accessories. Pink denim is a good idea, too, and gets those heart-shaped sunnies out. If in the winter wear. Ribbed pink jumper dress or a pink tartan patterned suit and skirt.

Folklore/Evermore

This is the perfect time if you see the weather and think your outfit won't work. Bring out that long-length or trench coat, get that baker boy hat, and wear a burgundy or tartan scarf. This is your perfect autumnal outfit to fit the weather and still work. Don't forget your cable knit cardigan and thin linen laced-up cream dress underneath. This is all floating and comfortable, with clothing in all the colours, very much so cream, a light mint beaded necklace, and your crew-knit cardigan. This is the only time a tartan shirt can be used, and those cream-beige light pink dresses with gold jewellery.  With evermore, it's similar with more gold blue orange, creating an autumn golden hour look with a printed patterned dress. The milkmaid-style dress with those greens may even be a lock necklace.

Midnights

This is all dark blue or the sky of midnight, so I have seen two-piece sets inspired by midnights and van Gogh starry nights in sequins. Though expensive, you could get the top and use something from your wardrobe. Like most of her eras, all blue and silver is all about the sparkles and sequins. This one has the theme of the sky with stars and moons that shine at midnight. Pardon my pun. With songs like Bejeweled, the more the Jews and sparks, the better in that classy dark blue

The tortured Poets department.

Being the newer of the albums, it is hard to plan an outfit around this, but this is her clean girl look, with a corset in white and cream being the standout for this album. A long corset waistcoat with a boat A cute neckline would be perfect. The monotone beige, cream, black, and grey colours of this album fit it perfectly. If you feel confident, get black armpit-level gloves compared to a white dress to emulate that look on the red carpet.
