Cheesy Garlic Dough Balls

Ingredients

  • 260g self raising flour*
  • 1 tsp baking powder*
  • half a tsp garlic granules
  • 190g greek yoghurt'
  • 1 small courgette
  • 50g unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 80g cheddar* (12 cubes)

 

Equipment needed

  • large bowl
  • grater
  • garlic press
  • ramekin/bowl
  • basting brush
  • knife
  • chopping board

 

method

  • Melt the butter in the microwave & stir in the minced garlic cloves & oregano
  • Add the flour, baking powder & garlic granules to a large bowl & mix
  • Finely grate the courgette & squeeze out as as much liquid as you can then stir the courgette into the flour, then add the greek yoghurt & mix until it comes together
  • Make 12

dough balls - add more flour as you're making them if too sticky to handle

  • Shape each one around a cube of cheese
  • Place in the air fryer & brush with garlic butter, cook for 8 minutes on 180c turning halfway & brushing with more garlic butter

 

storage

  • Fridge - 24 hours
  • Freezer - up to 3 month
